Nelson Monfort (born 12 March 1953 in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine) is a television host and sports journalist on France Televisions. ==TV and radio career== He commented on the figure skating and interviewed athletes just after their competition. Among his most famous interviews are that of Martina Navratilova in 1987, Carl Lewis, Bill Clinton at Roland Garros in 2001 and sprinter Michael Johnson during the Olympic Games in Atlanta. He presented ''Le Journal des Sports'' during the 1980s-1990s on FR3, then the program ''Les Mélodies de Nelson'' on Radio Classique on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00am to 1:00pm and wrote articles in ''Le Figaro''. In September 2008, he became a columnist of ''le Club Sports'' on Europe 1, alongside Alexandre Delpérier. He also presents television game shows: ''Jeux sans frontières'' in 1999 with Fabienne Égal, ''Une semaine chrono'' in 2006 with Pierre Mathieu and ''Intervilles'' with Philippe Candeloro.
